Audition dates and times for each show will be posted below throughout the season as they are determined. Please check back regularly.

ROLES AVAILABLE:
Men:
Shown in 19th century scenes:
BEETHOVEN middle aged
SCHINDLER, assistant to Beethoven – a mature man, devoted to Beethoven and put upon
DIABELLI, a music publisher – middle aged -- foppish and canny

Shown in 21st century scenes:
MIKE, a male nurse in 20s or 30s – has nice vigor and a certain randiness, ally of CLARA

Women:
KATHERINE, late 40s, 50s or 60s, a dedicated musicologist afire with need to solve puzzle of why Beethoven spent so much effort on the 33 variations. Grows progressively more ill from Lou Gherig’s disease.
CLARA, grown daughter of Katherine, a theatrical costumer by profession
GERTIE, middle aged to senior…librarian of Beethoven original manuscripts…must have good German accent

The auditions are broken down in 10 minute slots. Please call with your preferred time and we will try to slot you as close to that as we can.

Reminder that if you are Non-Equity and an Equity member needs your time slot, you will be re-slotted to give Equity precedence. Therefore, it is extremely important that we get your phone number in case we need to re-slot you.

Auditions are open to both Equity and Non-Equity performers.

Big 8- A Substantial woman of 48, Ex-Rodeo star and expansive personality.
Rob Bob- Good Looking, 26, the youngest rodeo rider to have won the "World's Top Cowboy" Silver Buckle.
Shedevil- A young girl, many piercings and a couple of tatoos.
Shirl- Big 8's Sister, an attractively blowsy woman of 40.
Black Dog- A monstrous, "Harley-Clad", mustachioed, eye-patched, tattooed, fierce, 45 year old Ukrainian Biker.
Baxter Blue- A Small, balding Cop, slightly overweight, maybe 45 years old.
Memphis Donnie Pride- A Beautiful Young Cowboy.
