Discover the Cultural Jewel of Dallas’ Uptown
Theatre Three, Dallas’ prize-winning professional theatre, performs year-round in its unique facility in the heart of Uptown, Dallas’ upscale, urban neighborhood immediately adjacent to downtown Dallas. Like the off- Broadway theatre district of New York City, Uptown is packed with fascinating restaurants and bars, and boasts exceptional housing and specialty retail. Theatre Three’s two-stage facility is in the center of the Quadrangle, a block-sized complex of buildings that contains ample free parking, restaurants, a high end office tower and a fine arts photography gallery. (For directions to FREE parking, see map.)
Before & After Your Show
Located in the heart of Uptown Dallas, there are many wonderful places nearby to either eat before the show or grab a drink afterwards. Some of our partners at the Quadrangle include:
- British Beverage Co.
- MoMo’s Italian Restaurant
- Two Corks and a Bottle
- The Dream Cafe
- Tacos and Tequila
All of our partners are located in the Quandrangle and a few of them even offer discounts to Theatre Three patrons who show their tickets or stubs when ordering. Uptown is a mecca of restaurants, bars and other nightlife. To see a full list of what is in the area, please visit YELP or UrbanSpoon.
Directions & Parking
Theatre Three is located in the heart of Uptown Dallas in the Quadrangle – a shopping center and office tower at the corner of Routh and Howell Streets. You will find us in the courtyard of the Quadrangle in between The Dream Café, MoMo’s and Sigel’s.
Our street address is 2800 Routh Street, Dallas, TX 75201.
Theatre Three patrons have two options for parking:
- PARK FREE in the Quadrangle Tower parking garage (under the Quadrangle’s office tower – entering down the drive just off Routh Street on LaClede.) Parking spaces in this well-lit garage are always plentiful but you may not park in any space marked RESERVED. After parking, guests ride up in the tower elevator to the lobby and exit into the fountain courtyard, right next to the theatre. On your stroll enjoy the beautifully lit fountains, the enhanced, colorful plantings and the popular indoor-outdoor Italian dining spot, MoMo’s. In order to use the elevator after the performance, patrons need to hit the buzzer marked “Theatre Three”.
- PARK FREE in the Amli Quadrangle Garage (on the ground floor underneath the Amli Apartments on the end of the Quadrangle furthest from Routh Street). The short stroll from that parking takes you past the popular indoor-outdoor American dining spot, Dream Café.
Please park in those areas that are not marked for other retail shops to avoid towing.
